DESCRIPTION:Memoir is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous. We can all write about our lives. \n\n\n\n\nHave you been thinking about writing your memoir for some time? Have you made a start but are now struggling to make progress? Would you like to receive warm support\, guidance and inspiration so that you can make headway with your memoir? \nJoin me on this six-month course where you’ll learn all the key components of memoir writing. Through the study of published memoirs and writing exercises\, you’ll learn how to develop your ideas and improve and experiment with your writing style. You’ll find the right structure for your memoir and there will be no holding you back! \nPlaces are limited to eight so everyone (and their memoirs) are given a lot of attention.\nThe course outline and recommended reading will be sent once you’ve booked your place. DESCRIPTION:You’ve heard of ‘The Silent Book Club’ where people read together in silence… \nExeter Phoenix\, in collaboration with Carla Jenkins of Raw Writing\, is delighted to announce the return of  ‘The Silent Writing Club\,’ a place where you can write in silence with others. Make time to work on your novel\, memoir\, short story\, play or poetry in this warm and supportive space. Afterwards\, there’s the opportunity to have a coffee or cold drink in our Café Bar and speak about your work in progress. \nNo need to book – just turn up. There is room for twelve people.  Seats will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis. You are welcome to buy a drink and write in the cafe bar if The Meeting Room is full!
