Competition Entry
Free entry into the Raw Writing Short Story Writing Competition (worth £15). The deadline will be in June, the word count will be 2000, and the prize will be a mentoring package (six sessions) with a published writer, a place on a six-month Raw Writing course, and publication in the Raw Writing Anthology.

Want to complete that writing project but finding it hard? Are you experiencing a lack of confidence? Writer’s block? Critical inner voice? Imposter syndrome? Want to stop the old ‘compare and despair? Need some help getting over the line?
These two LIVE Zoom sessions will provide you with all the writing inspiration, motivation, and joy you need. At Raw Writing, we understand that sometimes we need support and camaraderie. I’ll be leading these sessions, and sometimes, I’ll have some other guest tutors popping in, and we’ll be addressing all those obstacles that can stand in the way of your writing success.
These sessions will be recorded, so you can catch up at your convenience if you’re unable to attend live.

MONTHLY MENtoRING SESSION
EVERY MONTH – a 45-minute monthly mentoring session with me or another published writer. (These writers have been published by ‘the big five’ – Hachette, Penguin, Harper Collins, Pan Macmillan, Simon & Schuster.)
You’ll be matched with the best writing mentor for you.
The mentor will read up to 1500 of your words in advance of the meeting, and this will inform the session.
The focus will be on how to move you forward with your writing, set goals, and make sure you’re on track to hit all your writing targets and dreams. This expert attention and guidance from a professional writer will help take your writing to the next level. It’s a tailor-made support system for you and your writing.
Twice a year, you’ll also be invited to a live session with a literary agent who will give expert advice and demystify the world of publishing for you. There will be the chance to submit questions in advance.
